    Best Airline Clubs

If you fly a lot, whether for business or for pleasure, then the airline club is your oasis...

Most flyers don't need what the clubs offer, but those who fly more than they stay on the ground, do need what the clubs offer. I have grown to appreciate what the very best airline clubs have to offer...

My All-Time Number-One is, without a single doubt, United's Concourse E club at Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH). The staff is exemplary, and the amenities are unparalleled. Full-service showers, all-inclusive alcohol and amenities, etc.... this club simply pounds every other club in the Universe into submission. It's not the most posh club in existence, but it is, no-nonsense, the very best.

Cathay Pacific's Hong Kong club is very nice.

Air France's club at CDG is nice. The only problem with that club is that you actually have to fly through CDG to visit the club.

Singapore's club is nice. Unfortunately, the in-flight service is nicer than the clubs on the ground.

The clubs at Juan Santamaria (SJO)...

    Worthless...

You can get free admission to those clubs, or you can pay for admission to those clubs, and then...

The clubs will charge you for everything... even a beer. It's cheaper and more enjoyable to just stay in the public concourse and eat at Smashburger.
